The Vita Nova Foundation Board of Directors
P. Art Yuthasastr Kosol-Wiklund (President)
Art, as she is fondly called by her friends, is the President of the Vita Nova Foundation Board of Directors. She is originally from Thailand and has been living in Sweden for more than 30 years after spending several working years in Spain and Switzerland. In these capacities she has held various positions of responsibility and personal endeavor amongst them Philanthropic Chairperson of the International Women�s Club of Stockholm - Goodwill Ambassador to the SOS Children�s Villages of Sweden (an international non-profit organization benefitting needy children) - Vice-President of the Swedish-Thai Culture Society - President of the Vita Nova Foundation. Her aim is to help destitute women and needy children particularly in Asia, expanding on the work she has performed in Latin America, Africa and in Europe. She is frequently observed in international media and events.
Rosinah Ismail-Clarke (Vice President)
Rosinah is responsible for marketing, PR and project management of Vita Nova, on top of her role as Vice President of the Board of Directors. She has a long list of merits in the field of marketing: starting from her stint in the Malaysian Tourism Development in Paris up to marketing and events management of a leading American IT company based in Paris, covering Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Rachel Hansen (Secretary)
Rachel Hansen was born in the Philippines. Before moving to Stockholm in 1981, she lived in Sydney, London, Frankfurt and Basel. Rachel has worked as a Flight Attendant in the Philippines, Public Relations Secretary in Stockholm and owned a restaurant called Darlings in Danderyd. She is currently working on her Stress Consultant diploma and will soon start an intensive course in Grief Management.
Caroline Thidell (Treasurer)
Caroline is tailor-made for the Treasurer post of Vita Nova. After all, she has been working with economy and administration, both in Sweden and abroad, for a great number of years. She carries with her many years of experience as Programme Administrator at the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). She had been posted three times in the Sida offices in Africa and Latin America. Among her experience with administration and financial matters she also holds a Diploma in HR-management. Through the years, she has been a member of many boards of different organizations, amongst them Vita Nova.
Caroline Fredriksson (Project Director)
The name �Caroline� and the term �project� go hand in hand. There are not many people who have dedicated their lives to organizing projects for the benefit of the poor and the oppressed as Caroline has done for the past years.
Aside from being the Project Director of Vita Nova, Caroline is a Board Member of the �Katolik Pedagogical N�mnden� (2002-2006) and of the Parish Council of the St Eugenia Catholic Church. She is the Event Organizer of the Social Group in St. Eugenia; Project Coordinator at St. Lorenzo Ruiz Foundation; Contact Person for the Stockholm Eight Entertainment, which produces concerts; and is a member of the International Women�s Club in Stockholm and the Catholic Women�s Guild. Caroline is the proprietress of Caroline Trading and Travel. Her philosophy in life is �Together let us build a chain of love all around the world�, which is from her biggest idol Mother Theresa. A philanthropist, Caroline has paved the way to building shelters and schools for the less privileged in the Philippines. Gabriel Kim Donner (Deputy)
Gabriel Donner, a lawyer by profession, is Vita Nova�s able Deputy (Suppleant). He obtained his Swedish law degree in 1982 from Stockholm University and he went on to do research in International Law at Uppsala University. He has also served in the Swedish Army, where he was promoted to Senior Lieutenant in 1984. His stint in the military provided him training in leadership and psychology, which he later put into use in his subsequent work.
His areas of expertise include Corporate Law, Banking Law, Labour Law, Real Estate Law, General Law and Private International Law. His broad experience include mergers and acquisitions of companies, wherein he was able to put his skills in seven languages into use; banking; trouble shooting of companies; court experience with more than 250 cases between 1986 and 2007.
