The Second Vita Nova Foundation Open - Tuesday September 11, 2007
The Arninge Golf Club, Vågsjö Gård, Täby

The day started with a rainy morning, but our President had a magical trick. According to the Thai traditional belief, one can stop the rain by putting the lemon grass plants in the ground upside down. She went out into the golf course and did that at every hole. It took sometime but she believed it would work. AND IT DID. Seth Strandin, the golf club manager, told the participants about this and he laughingly said he only knew how to make the rain as the red Indians do but not to stop the rain. The day started with laughter and ended with laughter because there were so many prizes almost to everyone.

As usual, after the registration, breakfast and giving away of Vita Nova start kits to the participants, the tournament started at 9,00 a.m. There were 40 participants, 6 more than the year before.

All golfers were ready approximately at 3.30 p.m. None but the President of the Foundation was so happy that the rain actually did not bother the golfers any more.
After welcome drinks from a tough but enjoyable day, the delicious Asian buffet was served by the Club restaurant. To whisper about the owner, he lives half a year on Phuket Island, Thailand and the half year he works at this Arninge Golf Club so it was really a pleasure for Christer to prepare a fantastic buffet menu. Everyone enjoyed the meal tremendously. Finally it was as usual time for the prize giving ceremony. The results are as follows:
